We reserved seats for 7.30 p.m. in good time. Since we had a long way to get there and it became apparent that we would not make it on time, I called 2.5 hours in advance that we would be late. It would be noted. Shortly before we arrived I called again to make sure everything was going well. "Yes everything fine.". When we arrived at 8:10 p.m., our table had been taken by a house guest. There was no more room for us. We were denied hospitality in the outside area. The kitchen is already closed. According to the internet and the notice in the restaurant, there should be warm meals until 9 p.m. My previous calls were negated or, after a major intervention, referred to a colleague who supposedly had already finished work. There does not seem to be any internal communication. Good cuisine - which is beyond question - is not enough if the guest idea does not apply. It is not the first negative recession on this subject. It is not learned from it. That is ignorant.

We wanted to stop there tonight. On the phone, an employee said there was still space. We should have driven a few more kilometers. When asked whether we can make a reservation, she answered no. So if there is no space then we cannot eat. When we arrived, an employee was standing at the entrance and made a phone call. She paid no attention to us. Second, the entrance was cordoned off. It also looked like a beer tent. We decided to go again. Conclusion: not recommended.

The smokehouse was recommended to me by friends. A mega great address. Staff friendly, courteous, concerned about the guests. The food was really tasty and plentiful. "Baltic salmon" No long waiting times, ordered and a short time later, the food came to the table. Keep it up with great service. Praise to everyone !!! Come back!!!

On Thursday, October 1st, 2020, we tried to reserve a table by phone. Unfortunately, we couldn't reach anyone several times. No problem. So stop by on foot. According to the Internet, the restaurant is open until 10 p.m., when you arrive there is written at the entrance kitchen until 9 p.m. Reached the restaurant, which was not half full, shortly after 8 p.m. to get the information that there was no food or drink for us :-) It's a shame, but we haven't seen enough one hour before the kitchen closes available places no longer feel like ...

The fish was delicious, the service was very friendly and helpful. I can only recommend the waffle for dessert and the waitress recommended we eat it for two, which was the right decision. Great decoration and with a delicious dark beer it will be a great Baltic Sea experience.

We have enjoyed coming back here for years on our holidays. A lot has happened in the last 10 years, now there is home-brewed beer and outdoor dining has expanded pleasantly thanks to the trap. But one thing has remained, the good quality of the food, the friendly, nimble and courteous staff, the unique atmosphere, the fantastic location right on the small harbor on the Bodden. You shouldn't really praise that much, otherwise you'll soon have no chance of getting a table, but that would be unfair. So people come and try your luck, you will not regret it.

When asked whether a table is still available, one is handled quite unfriendly with the explanation that everything is reserved. Wouldn't be a problem either. But in such a tone? Perhaps there will also be a response to inquiries based on sympathy or external impression? One does not know. The fact is: You don't have to accept such a "reception".

At the reception you were treated like a second class person. In the middle of the conversation, the receptionist simply turned to other guests. The food was good, the rest less so!

Lots of activity, but very friendly service. Of course we ate fish, we could hardly decide, very large selection. And yes, you could taste the difference: fresh, tasty, skillfully prepared.

Ate delicious halibut, fresh from the smoker while still slightly warm. Hmmmm, your mouth will water at the mere sight of it.

Very good, maritime fish restaurant with an attached brewery and a fantastic beer. The kitchen is down to earth and the service is as friendly as it is attentive. The friendly patience with which the head waitress responded to guest inquiries at the entrance to the restaurant should be emphasized - in times of corona-related restrictions on space in the high season. The price-performance ratio is excellent. An absolute recommendation!

We ate very well in the smokehouse. Beautiful location on the harbor and very good fish dishes. With the reservation and the Corona-related circumstances, everything was arranged very well and without any problems.

The complete package is right here. Have been coming here for 5 years and have never been disappointed. Starting with the fantastic view of the bay and the harbor, through an attentive and friendly service, to the very tasty food, the smokehouse is definitely recommended !!!!

Very nice and attentive service. Consistently adhered to hygiene and clearance rules. Delicious meal. And all of this in such a picturesque setting of the small harbor. We would have loved to come back, but unfortunately the store is fully booked

Strict implementation of the Corona requirements right from the reception - a good thing! Good fish food with friendly and very attentive service. We sat in the covered outdoor area, very pleasant. Not really cheap, but still reasonable. We felt comfortable and would love to come back.

We have in the smokehouse on 13.06 In 2020 we ate fried and pickled herring with two people, we ordered the asparagus soup and the fish soup as a starter. All dishes tasted excellent. The service and service were perfect. The restaurant is recommended, also because of the good location. Uwe + Susanne

Nice locaton, friendly staff, brew their own beer on site which is quite good. Food, on the other hand, is disappointing. Mediocre while fairly pricey fare.

Really nice location with very good food, friendly and patient staff even when it‘s crowded. Child-friendly with children‘s books, pencils, high chairs and a maritime playground.

Overpriced. Tourist trap. Nice location but the food is defintly not. Bread and smoke salmon 15€ bread comes from the next supermarket... Food 2/10 Location 5/10
